September is typically when we would plan a big warm "welcome back!" event to mark the end of summer and the beginning of a new school year.
This year, as our approach has been throughout Covid, our Welcome Back Sunday will be careful, simple, and ready to pivot should any gathering requirements change between now and Sunday the 19th.
Here's the plan:
After our 10:45am in-person service on Sunday, September 19, we will provide space to gather outside in our parking lot so that we can connect over a warm drink and a snack.
We will provide name tags to help us know who is behind the mask and introduce us to new folks who have joined us throughout the pandemic!
Please plan to wear your masks and bring your own mug for a warm beverage if you'd like.
We plan to include some fun carnival activities for our kids.
If joining us for an in-person service is not comfortable for you right now, we hope this outdoor connect time will be helpful to you as you seek to connect with folks safely in this season.
We will let you know via our newsletter if anything changes, so please be sure you're signed up for that.
