Dear Faith Community,

Over the past few months, we have been monitoring closely the announcements from our Provincial Health Officer as Covid-related restrictions have incrementally eased. With the announcement this past Tuesday of further easing and the removal of the provincial proof of vaccination program, your Church Leadership Team agrees it is an appropriate time now for us to begin taking steps to ease our own church Covid policies.

Please note that we have adopted a new policy that will go into effect April 15, 2022.

The full policy is available here, but allow us to highlight a few notable items:

  • Masks are still encouraged, but no longer required for those attending our Sunday services.
  • Volunteers and Staff over 12 years are required to wear masks at all times
  • There are no longer vaccine requirements for attendees or volunteers
  • We remain committed to supporting you with options, and as such our online service will remain available both in our livestream format, and on our website archive

In light of these practices, we want to remind you that an essential continued measure of protection from illness for our faith community is your daily health check.  Please do not attend onsite events if you or anyone in your household has experienced fever, vomiting, or a worsening cough in the previous 48 hours.

We know that as practices evolve and change throughout this season, it may cause disruption to some patterns, feelings, and expectations.  We want to acknowledge that we understand this can be difficult, but we trust that clear communication will help you and your household make choices that allow you to remain well and connected in our community.

We are grateful for the peaceful relations that have marked many of our interactions through this pandemic.  As always, please reach out to us to let us know if there is any way we can support you better.
